Meet our Glenrock Church of God Family

The church services at Glenrock Church of God in Loretto, TN have been closed from

March 8, 2020 through the end of May 2020 to help prevent the spread of the Coronavirus,

which has claimed lives in our area and world wide.

Glenrock Church of God has been having regular Sunday morning services since the first

Sunday in June, 2020.  We will continue doing that for the present time and we're praying

that conditions will improve in the near future.

We would love to have you come and worship with us.

The Sunday morning service includes:

Sunday School 10:00 to 10:45 AM

Praise and Worship and special singing and

preaching (usually until 12:00 PM)

TORNADO RELIEF MINISTRY

WE HAVE TAKEN 2 SMALL LOADS TO PHILCAMPBELL CHURCH OF GOD AND ARE WORKING ON A THIRD AT PRESENT TIME. THEIR INTENTION IS TO CONTINUE THEIR HOPE CENTER MINISTRY THEY HAD AT THE TIME THE TORNADO STRUCK AND HAVE MADE EVERY EFFORT WITH THE HELP OF MANY OTHERS IN THE AREA TO DISTRIBUTE AT THE CHURCH SITE AND HAVE SECURED A WAREHOUSE TO ALSO DISTRIBUTE IN THE COMING DAYS IN HACKLEBURG AL. WE HAVE BEEN ABLE TO TAKE A CONSTRUCTION TRAILER TO THE CHURCH LOT FOR THEM TO USE FROM ONE OF OUR MINISTERS; BRO STEVE. WE HAVE POSTED PICTURES FROM A CELL PHONE AND A 1 MINUTE VIDEO ON OUR GLENROCK CHURCH OF GOD FACEBOOK PAGE AS WELL AS MAIN LISTINGS OF GENERAL ITEMS.

STAPLES FOR WORKERS AND VOLUNTEERS:   FLOUR, SUGAR, PANCAKE SYRUP, MUSTARD, MAYO, KETCHUP, TEA, STYROFOAM CUPS, PAPER PLATES, BOWLS, TOWELS, PLASTIC UTENSILS, DISPOSABLE CLOTHS, BOTTLED WATER, GLOVES, VISORS, CAPS, ANY USABLE CAMPING EQUIPMENT AND GRILLS,  WE WILL BE POSTING A NEXT PHASE FOR ALL WHO WOULD BE INTERESTED IN HELPING AND CAN PROVIDE DELIVERY TO PASTOR CHRIS BURNS AND THE CONGREGATION. OUR CNTRIBUTION TO THEIR MINISTRIES AS WELL WILL ALSO HELP TO SUPPLY, WITH MANY OTHERS TO THE MISSISSIPPI FLOOD VICTIMS.  MANY, MANY THANKS TO EVERY SINGLE PERSON, EVERY CHURCH, EVERY PASTOR AND MINISTERS WHO HAVE HELPED WITH THIS MINISTRY. WE OFFER WHAT WE HAVE IN THE NAME OF JESUS AND GOD MAKES SO MUCH MORE OF IT THAN WE EVER COULD BY OURSELVES.  MAY ALL BE BLESSED AND ALSO RECEIVE ABUNDANTLY BEYOND AS IT IS MEASURED BACK TO YOU IN THIS PRESENT WORLD AND IN THE WORLD TO COME.   IN CHRIST - BRO KEN

THE MAIN THING

SOMEONE SAID, THE MAIN THING IS TO KEEP THE MAIN THING THE MAIN THING. IN GOD THAT IS TO KNOW HIM THROUGH JESUS CHRIST AS OUR ONLY FOUNDATION. MANY PEOPLE HAVE GREAT CONVERSION STORIES AND TESTIMONIES. GOD IS STILL BRINGING EVEN MORE SOULS INTO HIS KINGDOM THAN EVER THROUGHOUT THE WORLD, IN WAYS HE DID IN HIS WORD AND JUST LIKE HE DID THEN, HE TELLS US HE WILL AND HE STILL DOES.

SOME SEEM OF GREATER CALLING TO US HUMANLY OR OF GREATER EXPERIENCE AND TESTIMONY, BUT SCRIPTURE IS VERY PLAIN THAT GOD SEES EACH MEMBER IN PARTICULAR AND ALL ARE JUST AS IMPORTANT TO HIM. GOD KNOWS BEST HOW TO REACH EACH OF US AND EACH CHILD OF GOD KNOWS THIS FROM OUR FATHER IN OUR OWN HEART.

I THANK GOD FOR EVERY SOUL WE'VE EVER SEEN WALK DOWN THE AISLE IN THE CHURCH, OR IN THEIR CAR, OR IN THE PARK, OR IN THEIR HOME, BOW TO GOD , REPENT OF THEIR SINS, AND ASK JESUS INTO THEIR HEART TO EXPERIENCE BEING BIRTHED INTO THE SPIRIT OF GOD, A NEW CREATION IN CHRIST, CREATED IN CHRIST, THE WORKMANSHIP OF GOD.

I ALSO THANK GOD FOR EVERY TESTIMONY I HAVE EVER HEARD OF OR WITNESSED IN ALL TYPES OF PLACES AND MOST UNUSUAL CIRCUMSTANCES, WHERE ANY PERSON CAME TO SURRENDER ALL TO JESUS.

IT STILL AMAZES ME TO SEE GOD AT WORK AND THE THINGS HE DOES EVEN WHEN MANY DO NOT SEE GOD DOING ANYTHING, NOR BELIEVE HE CAN, OR DON'T EVEN BELIEVE THERE IS A GOD. HE BRINGS HIMSELF TO US PERSONALLY REVEALED AND MANIFESTED REAL, TRUE, ALIVE TO MAKE HIS ADODE, AND TO RECEIVE ALL THE WORSHIP, GLORY, PRAISE FROM OUR HEART, SOUL, MIND.

Bro. Jimmy and Bro. Steve have been diligently working on the ceilings in the hallway. Next on the list? The entryway ceiling and the hanging of the chandelier! I will post pics of that too! Stay tuned for more info on the egg hunt coming up in April!
